Your First Visit
Parkrose Dental uses only the best treatment options for all your individual dental needs. We take pride in adhering to best practices and recommended treatments of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Society.
Once you're seated in the treatment room, our dental assistants will take a "Full Mouth X-ray" in order for the doctor to evaluate your mouth's overall health, necessary restorations, and areas of concern. Take the time to relax and talk with Dr. Tieu about your concerns, hopes and overall goals of treatment.
Once finished, our front office staff will help set up your next appointment and go over expected insurance payments as well as co-payments.
Our Team
THOMAS T. TIEU, DMD
Dr. Tieu attended Reed College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for his undergraduate. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He completed his DMD degree in 1996. Following the completion of his doctoral degree, he completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been practicing dentistry in the Portland area since 1997. Dr. Tieu is a member of Multnomah Dental Society, Oregon Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association.
Dr. Tieu is incredibly passionate about his office, his team and our patients. He is also one of the most devoted dads to his two sons. He and his wife enjoy golfing, basketball and hiking with their boys. As dedicated as he is to his practice, his most favorite past time is spending quality time at home with his family.
